All of our vehicles supplied are current models and are comprehensively insured together with 24-hour AA/RAC emergency roadside assistance, so that you can be assured of the quality, reliability and high level of service that J&R Car & Van Hire offers.
We have a range of car from small cars to SUV available to hire we offer both manual cars and automatic cars
Please note that our 24 hour hire period is fixed starting from 8am through to 8.00 am the next day (you not need to collect the vehicle at 8am but you do need to return it to us by 8.00 am)
Please note when booking a Vehicle online we require all vehicles to be returned by 8.00 am the following day however you can return the vehicles overnight as we do have an overnight drop box

- Rates include hire, comprehensive insurance cover, breakdown and relay cover. VAT included
- Charge period starts at 8.00am for a 23.5-hour period
- Additional drivers: You are allowed two additional drivers. Please call for prices and terms
- Comprehensive insurance cover is included with an excess applying
- A deposit of £250 is pre authorised on the drivers card
- Driving licence: All drivers must produce a full driving licence, registered at their current address, held for 2 years and have no more than six endorsement points
- Payment terms: By credit or debit card only
- Age limits: Minimum age is 21 years. Maximum age is 79 years (Drivers between 21-24 or 76 and 79 will have other restrictions please call for details)
- Foreign travel: A £12 surcharge is applied to the daily rate. Please call for details
- Motoring offences, fines and congestion charges will be charged to the hirer with a £40 administration fee plus VAT
- Negligent damage tyres, punctures, blowouts, glass and condition of the vehicle including over-cab damage is the responsibility of the hirer
- Late return: All hirers must return during the above charge period. If not, you will incur a charge of £40 for every hour thereafter until the daily rate is exceeded
- Cancellation charge: Bookings cancelled within 5 days of the start time will be penalised 50% of the hire value. If cancelled within two days, the penalty is 75% of the hire value. Cancelled on the start day or no-show will incur the full value of the hire
